What this page is:

This is the my home Page.  Its not much yet, but I hope in the future, it will be much more.  I wanted to use it for the random thoughts in my head.

What I am: 

I have 10 years of computing experience. I live in a Windows World and I make my living there.

I am a advocate of the Linux Operating system, and have been using it continously since 2001.  My experience with the operating system is fair, and I don't feel that all people should use it, but if you enjoy learning the different aspects of your system, and want better grainular control of it, then Linux is for you.  I have used it in businesses that I started, since I wanted something that I could depend on.  My only serious downtime has been from hardware failures (OK, also when I broke it on purpose, just to what would happen...).  

That being said, I wouldn't recommend it for people who just want a PC to get on the web and check thier e-mail.

I like the freedom I get from an open source product.  I dont like the way Microsoft requires you to licence thier software, and update thier product to keep my data safe.
